Trail Continues to Buttonrock Preserve (No bikes)

The trail is easy to follow. On the way down to the North St. Vrain River you will pass an old cabin and go over a few sections of sweet single track. When you get to the bottom, take a right. (You can go left and into Button Rock Preserve if you're not biking.) You can then go upstream for a couple miles to a campsite. The trail along the river is really rocky in some spots.
On a later trip, I took a trail from this campsite up a valley. It was a good aerobic climb out, with one steep climb. The trail came out on a 4x4 road, which I went right on and it went back to the trailhead.
