Trail use: Hiking and equestrian
Trail restrictions/rules: No pets are allowed. Stay on path. Watch out for rattlesnakes, especially during the summer months and hot weather.
Parking: The trailhead is in a suburban area so in addition to the free parking lot there is plenty of off-street parking.
Interpretative center/ranger station: The center is about a mile north. There is a museum, a bookstore and plenty of knowledgeable volunteers to answer all your questions. The rangers are on site M-F from 8am to Sundown.
