This 3.8 mile "pseudo" loop leads up to Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock. It's a decent hike with mild ascent on the way in. There's some dramatic swtich backs on the way up and down, and the views at Wolf Rock are awesome. Get up there and jump across some fissures. But, be very careful for Rattlesnakes and Copperheads who live in these deep quartzite crevasses. On the way down, instead of doing an out and back, follow the signs for Park Central Road and drop out onto Route 77. Follow the road back to the trailhead to make this into a loop. Watch the traffic on 77.

There are no views at Wolf Rock--trees prevent that, but the rocks are fun to hop around on and, yes, there are rattlesnakes there. Chimney Rock has a view, but probably not the best in Maryland.
