Since this was a spur of the moment hike, while we were on vacation in San Fran, we were very unprepared. This being the case, we went on our hike with no food and my girlfriend was wearing flip flops. Never-the-less we made it 3 miles down the trail and back, resulting in a nice 6 mile loop through amazing woods and shoreline views. Awesome trail, I just wish we could have gone further and camped out. Next time.
