This 67.4-mile section of the Continental Divide Trail starts at Copper Mountain and travels across lush forest, grassy meadows, and exposed alpine slopes. The route immediately crosses the Tenmile Range then traces the rolling, sometimes talus-strewn, ridges of the Continental Divide to the tops of numerous 12,000+ foot Rocky Mountain peaks. During the final 7-mile stretch, the trail crests 14,270-foot Grays Peak before dropping into Stevens Gulch and finishing at Bakerville.
