Travel through Gearhart and Seaside, along the beach or Promenade (it's cement - be careful of your feet!)

About halfway through this one, you come to the bottom of Tillamook head.   It's a nice workout without being too strenous to climb to the top.  Marvel at Clark's viewpoint North;  through hikers can camp at at a small cluster of log structures at the top.    Magnificent view of Terrible Tilly -- a lighthouse turned mausoleum -- and an easy switchbacking route down the other side complete the dayhiker's trek at Indian Beach; or continue another mile and a half up to Ecola point for more stunning views.
