A friend and I spent two days on Guadalupe Peak. Highest point in Texas at 8,749 feet. We started Thursday April 2nd at 10:00 am. We hiked 3 miles and 2500 feet up the trail to the campground. We camped overnight at the Guadalupe peak campground before reaching the summit the next morning.
