Continue past a closed trail (the old trail was diverted) to the footbridge across Turkey Creek. After crossing the bridge, the field opens into a wide clearing, a popular spot for overnight hikers.

Head toward the right to continue on the main trail. As trail begins to follow the creek, it enters a "bowl" with cliff walls on both sides. Ahead you'll pass another campsite (with a fire ring and a bench) and the Clark Cemetery (an old family plot protected by barb wire). Ahead, the red-blazed trail travels to the left of the creek for half a mile and rarely sees sunlight (trail is almost always muddy). Watch your footing here.

Heading back into Tennessee, the trail crosses the creek to enter the Walls of Jericho amphitheater. Continue wandering into the amphitheater towards the rear falls (Waypoint 13). Note: Even when the water is low, expect to get your feet wet on this section of the trail; waterproof shoes are handy, and a change of socks is a good idea as well.

The trail ends at these falls. From here you can backtrack the same way you came into the amphitheater or wander the creek to find another crossing further south.
