Case Mountain to Gay City via Shenipsit Trail

Distance: 11.5 miles


The Shenipsit trail runs for approximately 40 miles through Connecticut. This section starts at Case Mountain in Manchester and continues to Gay City State Park. It is a 12 mile out and back.

From either parking lot - follow the white blazed Carriage Path to the summit and pick up the blue blazed Shenipsit Trail.  Maps are available at either entrance.  Also, don't forget that Case Mountain offers some of the best Mountain Biking in the state.  There are over 40 miles of single and double track located throughout Case Mountain and the connecting areas.
