This trip starts in Duncannon, PA and heads south to Trindle Road. Day One of this trip starts with a section of trail that has a 1,000 ft. elevation gain as the trail climbs Cove Mountain. The trail here is steep and rocky and leads to a nice viewpoint at Hawk Rock. The hike continues along Cove Mountain and eventually descends down the southern side into the valley. The next section of trail leads through the valley over relatively flat ground. Day One ends with another 1,000 ft. elevation gain on the climb up Blue Mountain. Spend the night at Darlington Shelter. Day Two starts with the descent down the southern side of Blue Mountain. The remainder of the hike is across flat ground and goes through farmland and forest. The trail follows the Condoguinet Creek for a while. This trip will leave you sore and tired when you reach Trindle Road.
