Update: This description covers part of the trail. It actually starts near the ruins of Whitely School in Boxley Valley (near Ponca), runs 13 miles to Steel Creek, continues through Erbie campground and ends about 11 miles downriver of Pruitt on Hwy 7. If you can, do the whole thing. It's worth every step. Note: Not sure the canoe outfitters in Ponca provide shuttle service to Erbie anymore, due to its relative remoteness, but they will tell you who does.
