A three night trip to hike the Buffalo River trail in the spring of 2008. Be careful if rain is in the forcast, as creek and river levels can become very dangrous very fast and make crossing impossible. The trail that we ended up taking ended up including some bush waking, as the real trail had been washed out. The terrain is fairly rocky, and the climbs get worse each day. You should probably park a car at the end of the hike. If there has been any rain at all, take major roads to get to places, as the back roads may be near washed out. I recommend driving an SUV if you plan on taking any back roads.
