Get Creative
Location: 35.1450031, -106.497817
You'll have to get a little creative on your final approach to make sure you get in 50 by taking some back roads.
A great loop that starts with a dramatic drop down Tramway and heads towards Alameda blvd. From here you take a scenic spin through Corrales as the road snakes by a drainage ditch past adobe homes. A gentle climb brings you to HWY 528. This is one of the life blood venues for Rio Rancho, but good shoulders help to make a fun ride to Bernalillo. Next follow narrow shoulders as you cross over the Rio Grande on your way to HWY 313. Resist the temptation to stop for a breakfast burrito at one of the many fine cafes as you TT back to Tramway Blvd. along a busy 2 lane road. Once you reach the base of Tramway you have a final climb that will test your fitness before ending back at HD Park!
