Turn Left at this Y. The trial marker sign is a little hard to read here... on first inspection it appears that the #302 and #304 are marked with an arrow telling you to turn right. The #302 actually turns left, and the arrow is only for #304
Zoom around the base of 2,608-foot Piestewa Peak and then hop up to the summit to view the full of the Sonoran Desert on this 5.3-mile route on the Ultra course.
TO TRAILHEAD: Take 51 to exit 6, Glendale Avenue and go east about 1/2 mile. Shortly after Glendale Ave changes to Lincoln Drive, it will curve south. Turn east onto Squaw Peak Drive and go another 1/2 mile to the park entrance.
