I worked with a camp this summer at a local health club called the "Outdoor Adventure Camp." Basically, I got paid to go around NW Arkansas and take kids out hiking, caving, mapping, etc. Just basic outdoor skills.
The Yellow Rock trail in Devil's Den State Park is a short day hike with a gorgeous overlook off approximately a 300 ft bluff. Looks out over the Ozark (aka Boston) Mountains and a great view of Lee's Creek running throughout.
Overall, it is an easy hike, and great for kids. Around 3.5-4 mile round trip with beautiful scenery throughout.
