My buddy and I planned a 30+ mile route starting at moonlight lake just below Echo lake. First day was hiking into Moonlight, which was trail the whole way. Second day was the beginning of our off trail adventure with just a gps, compass and map we spent the next two day climbing and hiking over Echo summit, and exploring multiple peaks along the way. At the end of two days we then joined John Muir Trail which took us through La Conte Canyon. From there we followed the Dusy Basin Trail which took us over the bishop pass and then back to Lake Sabrina to complete are 5+ hike. IT WAS AWESOME!
