The trail is well-marked and easy to follow.
This hike is in the Texas Hill Country at Lost Maples State Park. The hike is a 5 mile loop with plenty of water. There is a stream bed and a good climb to the summit of the hike and then the hike follows a river as it descends back to the parking area. Beautiful in the spring and fall.
