Just finished 2 day loop hike 12/14/2012 with perfect weather. Hard to believe there is such a nice place so close to NY with solitude (at least in December). Well worth the hike. Only caution is that trip is described using trail names but trails have no posted names only different colored blazes and there are a lot of trails. We only to the tearout with us which used names. Some hikers let us take a picture of their map and that served as our guide to find the listed trails.
