Boston, MA: Fells Mountain Bike Trail

This 6.3-mile loop skirts three reservoirs, cuts through forests of oak, hemlock, and birch in 2,060-acre Middlesex Fells Reservation.

Cascade Railtrail Out and Back

This ride is perfect for those new to mountain biking and high elevations. It follows a stretch of Denver, South Park and Pacific narrow gauge rail line constructed in a race to cross the continental divide by rail. A wide, mostly crushed gravel trail overlooking Chalk Creek and the Mt Princeton Chalk Cliffs, it climbs at no more than 5% to a turnaround at beautiful Cascade Falls.

Trip By Absolute Bikes

Denver: Bitterbrush to Nelson Loop

This 10-mile loop in Hall Ranch begins with a stiff, sometimes technical, climb then speeds into rolling forestland and endless grassy meadows to an old ranch in the shadow of Longs Peak.

Grand Junction: Holy Cross Bike Loop

Ride some of western Colorado’s finest singletrack with tight turns, long descents, and stunning red sandstone on this 7.4-mile heart-pounder.

Los Angeles: Holy Jim Falls-Trabuco Canyon Loop

This 14.8-mile loop enters a lush canyon framed by a secluded waterfall, then cranks up 17 switchbacks to a mellow ridgeline in the Santa Ana foothills.

Moab: Amasa Back Loop

Amasa Back has long been one of Moab's classic out and back rides.  The climb up the jeep road is filled with technical steeps and the views are absolutely stellar the whole way.  What Amasa lacked was great singletrack.  Well....it lacks no more!

This ride climbs up Amasa Back on the traditional jeep road route, hits Pothole Arch and then returns on the ultra technical Rockstacker route finally finishing on Jackson Trail singletrack to close the loop.  This ride is certainly among the best Moab has to offer.

Moab: Slickrock Trail

Slickrock is the trail that put Moab on the mountain biking map.  At 11 miles long, it's entirely on Navajo sandstone.  The sandstone sticks to your tires like glue allowing incrediblly steep climbs as long as you can get on top of the bars and mash the crank.  Follow the white dashed line to stay on track - it's remarkablly easy to get lost in the "moonscape" without guidance from the line.  Couple the unique slickrock technical riding with gorgeous views of Moab, the Colorado River, and the La Sal Mountains and you'll know why many consider this the best trail in the World.

Pine Valley, CA: Big Laguna Trail

Sweet nontechnical singletrack and great scenery make this a perfect beginner to intermediate trail.

Poverty Creek Trail (w/ side trip to Pandapas Pond)

The Poverty Creek Trail system (AKA Pandapas Pond) is a network of multi-use trails perfect for hiking, running, horseback riding, and mountain biking.

San Bernardino, CA: Rim Nordic Trail

Hustle over mad mountain trails high above the bustle of Los Angeles: you won't believe you're only 90 minutes from the city.

Washington, DC: Schaeffer Farms Loop

Spin your wheels on twisty singletrack that whizzes over hills and across streams on this action-packed 3.1-mile loop through the renowned Schaeffer Farms.
