I have owned the Jetboil PCS for about a year now and I am absolutely in love with it. This is one of the most versatile and efficient backpacking stoves I have used. With the insulated liter sized pot and heat exchanger water seems to boil in no time. I mainly use it to heat water for freeze dried meals but it heats up soups and noodles and easily as it does with water. The compact burner and fuel canister fit right inside the pot, a great space saving feature. Also with it's sip top lid the insulated pot can double as mug for your morning cup of tea. I was so impressed with the PCS cooking system I have since bought the larger 1.5 liter pot and fry pan for cooking larger meals on the trail.

Q.}
Does soaking your feet in black tea before a hike reduce sweat and prevent blisters?
Submitted by: C.S., Orlando, FL
A.}
It does, and here's why. Black tea contains tannins, a bitter-tasting plant compound that gives red wine a tart flavor. And since tannins are astringents, they shrink or constrict body tissues, including the pores on your feet, causing you to sweat less.
