I was preparing for a trip out west and needed a good quality tent to get me through months of prep hikes and 14 days on the trail at Yellowstone and The Grand Teton National Parks. After mush research I went with the R.E.I. Half-Dome 2. I have to say that this tent has met all of my criteria: affordable, single pole system, the tent poles attach with hooks instead of a sleeve, it has large vestibules, and it accommodates my 6 foot 3 inch frame. Another great feature to this tent are the two openings and its very easy to set up. Two of my friend bought this tent on my recommendation, AND YOU CAN'T BEAT THE LIFETIME WARRANTY!
