I'm very picky about my sleep comfort. I think the Big Agnes Insulated Air Core (I have the regular rectangular one) is about as comfortable as one can ever expect to be in the woods. Best features: -- Light -- Seems rugged. I have not had the durability problems reported by others. -- Comfortable Less desirable features: -- Very slippery top and bottom. -- I must have tiny lungs. It takes me 50 breaths to blow this thing up. Tedious. But worth it for the comfort, I suppose. -- A tad narrow. I would love to see a 22" model. -- Virtually impossible to get it back in the bag by folding it in thirds. To get the air out you have to fold it twice. I just fold it in half instead of thirds, so that about 6" is sticking out of the bag. They should make a longer bag and not require you to fold it in thirds---it's so slippery it turns out all crooked by the time you get to the end. Bottom line: I buy an air mattress mainly for comfort, light weight, and durability. The Insulated Air Core excels in all of those. It falls short in convenience.
