A multi-day glacier backpacking trip gets off to a shaky start following the demise of a hotel alarm clock
I was on Castner glacier a few years ago. I spent 7 days socked in with rain and some snow flurries during a sheep hunt in August. I'm glad you had some better weather. On day 7 we got our ram and I was more than ready to get out of there, but if I had the opportunity I would be back there in a heartbeat.

Man, I wish I would have know you guys were coming up! I would have definitly put you guys up for a few nights. Screw paying for a hotel. Hope the trip is going well. If you are still in town, hit me up via email (traxtar3@hotmail.com). Posted: Aug 29, 2009 John Harms
