im bummed, i just found out about this contest. Two weeks ago i put my notice in to quit my career to hike the pacific crest trail, once done with that im going to get a seasonal job for the winter then fly to cork irland and back pack to wherever the wind takes me... all this with verry limited funs....good luck to the winner you are going to be one lucky s.o.b.

Age: 60
Proposed Dream Hike: Start a hike from the south end of the Manzano Mountains in New Mexico, through the Sandia Mountains, and northward into the Rockies in Colorado. There will be gaps where the hiking won't be through mountains (some private land that has to be bypassed, persistent snow), but much of the trip can be in high Rockies.
