We don't doubt your bouldering skills will get you over most pools. But admit the inevitable: Sooner or later you will swim. This 1,500-cubic-inch mesh pack/dry bag combo lets you freestyle in fine style. It weighs less than a pound, keeps your goods dry, and drains instantly, letting you move quickly and confidently whether you're in or out of the water. Side-release buckles clip dry bag into pack, while D-rings and web tabs let you attach a waist belt, or rig cords for clipping on carabiners and rappel gear. The ultra-simple design hangs a bit off the padded shoulder straps, but you won't be carrying heavy loads--the size is strictly for daytrips.
