4 backcountry brew gadgets even the snobbiest baristas will love.

Light and fast
Coffee snobs, hold onto your mugs: We found instant java that doesn't taste like day-old gas station brew. Café Bustelo Mexican Blend ($2.75, 2 oz.) made the cut for its smooth and strong flavor. Fans of Medaglia D'Oro Instant Espresso ($3, 2 oz.) said "robust, with a hint of cinnamon." After dinner, go with Café Bustelo Cappuccino ($3, five single-serving packets). The mocha-flavored version is great alone as a cocoa alternative, or blended with a shot of whiskey. All are available at javacabana.com.

Hey Backpacker! What about Folgers Singles? You can't get much "faster" or "lighter" than that! Also, they taste pretty darn good!

Let's start off a new year with a great cup of coffee. First, take along a small, extra light coffee pot. Second, fill with filtered water, let the pocket rocket do its stuff. Third, went it starts to boil, fill with almost fine ground coffee, stir put the lid on and wait a few minutes. And lastly, drink cowboy coffee at its best.

I'm about to rock your world. Google Nescafe 3-in-1.
I discovered this while in the Philippines. It's a single server packet with instant coffee, creame and sugar. They even have an extra-caffeine variation! There are many sites to buy this in the US online. Or, look for it at your local asian food market.

I pack oatmeal into a large zip lock along with enought coffee to provide a coffee flavored oatmeal with a real kick. cuts down on packing materials and having to prepare seperate cup of coffe/oatmael. This sustains me for 2 meals a day.

I take the instant bustelo mix some dried coffee creamer and some splenda all together and carry in a small bag and then when I boil some water in the morning for my oatmeal and ready to go instant coffee mix, I am ready to go.

Just let me bask in it for a moment but be sure I will help in whatever capacity I can...and I'll write more later (tonight) in response to your suggestions .
