Taylo Mitchell's mother did express her desire (and what she believed to be her daughter's desire) to not kill the coyotes responsible for the singer's death. But the singer's father did not express an opposing view (he hasn't commented publicly).

The other tales are true: Breckenridge will vote to legalize small amounts of marijuana for personal use, and a downed power line massacred deer, bears, coyotes, and wolves. Here's hoping no humans get any ideas about throwing the biggest roadkill buffet of all time...
