Some of these items are awesome looking but the user set up is very poor as stated several times above. At least include where to purchase items and specific price!
Thanks for some great new ideas for stocking stuffers. I'm running late for Christmas, but there is always Valentines Day.
Agree with all of the above. You guys have great content and it's a shame the poor user experience of your site makes it impossible to access.
Not to mention that it just came up on fb tonight so there is really no hope in getting it on time for Christmas. Thanks for nothing
I agree with you guys. The list is a good idea, it just doesn't work well and I deleted it after number 6.
Hope this info helps the people at Backpacker - your articles and reviews are great but this is like junk mail.
I'm done with these slide shows. They don't even work on some devices. I haven't opened one in a long time. I checked this one to see if BP had changed this crazy layout. I bet pages views would stay the same if they changed to a single page, because there must be enough readers that feel the same way.
I like how they slip a subscription to their magazine in there towards the beginning of the list. Why not be honest and just put it first?
I quit after 4 pages, rediculous!
I'm with everyone else - way too many clicks, not enough info.
Put them on one page or 5 per page or something. I can't even make it through the list from work.
I agree with all the above. I am intrigued by a lot of the Facebook posts that link to this site, but the minute I see that it's one of these click-thru tricks, with a photo slide show for something that should not be a slide show, concocted to amp up your page views, I bail.
If enough people complain about this maybe you guys will see the light? You know it and we know it that a simple list is a far friendlier way to present this information.
