2010 Photo Contest: the Outtakes

  • Milford sound. After much needed pizza and beer, the clouds broke to reveal one of the most stunning vistas in New Zealand, bathing the mountains in a soft, cozy evening light. (Jessica Barr)
  • I was photographing the fall colors in Uncompahgre National Forest in Colorado when this band of light appeared just long enough to take a few frames. It was one of the most spectacular displays I have ever seen. (Tim Ferrara)
